Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 87 of the Local Government Act 1972
that a vacancy has occurred on the South Petherton Parish Council.
Unless a request for an election to be held is submitted in writing to the Chief Executive,
Electoral Services, Somerset Council, County Hall, The Crescent, Taunton, Somerset,
TA1 4DY by 31st July 2026 by ten electors for the Parish of South Petherton, the Parish
Council will proceed to fill the vacancy by co-option.
