South Petherton Cemetery is owned and administered by South Petherton Parish Council.
The cemetery was built in 1868 with a lodge and two chapels. It contains six World War I graves and three World War II graves and many civilian graves.
The cemetery has burial plots available to purchase, a memorial wall with plots for ashes, a memorial woodland of Silver Birch trees and an adjoining piece of land which has been lovingly transformed into a community woodland.
