Report-a-problem-on-the-road

NHS 111 – you can call 111 for urgent medical advice when it’s not a life-threatening emergency. The service is free and available 24/7, and advisers can help with medical, dental, and mental health concerns. You will be directed to the correct service, and they may book an appointment for you or dispatch an ambulance if necessary.

Police – call 999 to report emergencies or 101 for non-emergencies.

Wessex Water – you can call 0345 600 4 600 for emergencies (24/7) or general issues during their contact hours.

Environment Agency – for urgent environmental incidents please call 0800 80 70 60

Electric Emergency – call 105 to report a power cut or damage to electricity lines and equipment. This is a free service that connects you to your local electricity network operator. 

National Gas Emergency Service – call 0800 111 999 if you smell gas, think you have a gas leak, or are worried that fumes containing carbon monoxide are escaping from a gas appliance.
