Sunday 5th June – Party from 2pm along St James Street
The Street will be closed, decorated with flags and bunting plus tables laid out in the road for people who cannot bring their own.

There will be music and a hog roast. We hope to repeat the event held for the last Jubilee in 2012.

Platinum Jubilee Window Competition

A prize will be awarded for the best decorated window.

Local people and groups are working together to make these events a community celebration. Volunteers to join the set up of our plans will be most welcome.

More other local events are being planned along with things not connected to the Jubilee such as the David Hall programme and the Brewer’s annual Beer Festival.

The Parish Council is providing sponsorship and is considering ideas for a permanent commemorative item. Suggestions please.
